Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Varyant ("we", operated by Nayma LLC) collects on this website (varyant.io) and inside the Varyant application for Shopify, and how that data is used.

1. This website

• Waitlist: if you join the early-access waitlist we store the email address you submit, the time of submission, and your IP address (for abuse prevention). We use it only to contact you about Varyant early access and launch. We do not sell or share it.
• No trackers: this website sets no analytics cookies and loads no advertising or tracking scripts.

2. The Varyant app

When a store runs experiments with Varyant, the app processes storefront interaction events to compute results:

• What is collected: anonymous visitor identifiers (random tokens set in a first-party cookie), the variant a visitor was assigned, and funnel events — page exposure, add-to-cart, checkout, and order totals — plus coarse context such as device type, traffic source, and country.
• What is not collected: no names, emails, addresses, phone numbers, or payment details of store visitors. Visitor identifiers are random and are not linked to personal profiles.
• Purpose: the data is used solely to compute experiment results for the merchant running the test.
• Retention: raw event data for a finished experiment is archived to an aggregate summary after the retention window; aggregates keep no per-visitor records.

3. Data location & security

Application data is stored in managed, access-controlled databases. Transport is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access is limited to the operator of the service.

To have your waitlist email removed, or for any privacy question, contact hello@varyant.io and we will act promptly.

We may update this policy as the product evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision.
